Mitch Albom is a very clever person. The fact that he began the story with Eddie's death proves this. Not only does it emphasize death and it's relation to Heaven, it also grabs a reader's attention. After grabbing the reader's attention Mitch Albom can continue to unravel the story of the five people Eddie meets in Heaven. The beginning of this book proves that "All endings are also beginnings."
