The Road Not Taken

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I--
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
1.) The poem is written in first person.The speaker is a traveler trying to make a difficult decision.
2.) The traveler is at a fork in the road, and is trying to decide which path to take.
3.) It is fall in the early 20th century. It is late morning.
4.) The poem takes place outside,in the country, and on land.
5.) The purpose is to tell us to take the uncommon path, and to be happy with your choices.
6.) You should try to be unique and try not to be just like everybody else.
7.) Robert Frost is trying to convince us to take the less used path. In other words, he means to do things that not everybody else is doing. He is saying that we should be our own person.
8.) There is visual imagery. I see a traveler on a horse trying to choose what path to take.
